The bent pyramid is to be constructed of a plain stone core, and faced with fine white limestone, that it may forever shine under the desert sun. You will find sufficient quantities of limestone at Dahshur, but you'll need to import the necessary amount of plain stone for this undertaking.

While most of the land mass is to the west of the immediate river, the stone formations on the east side of the map are useful for providing the limestone needed to facilitate construction of the Bent Pyramid.
Unlike stepped pyramids, the bent pyramid requires limestone as well as plain stone to be constructed. The requisite wood for carpenters, stonemason's guilds, and labour camps are also required. Importing the needed plain stone is tough, as only one trading partner provides this stone: the single trading partner importing plain stone also provides many other goods needed by the city, so a balance of importing the pyramid's materials and the materials needed by the city, is important.
Beer, linen and papyrus are the most lucrative exports. In particular, barley can be grown locally. Barley and grain can also be sold, but the profit margins aren't nearly as good.
