Confucian Academy is a building found in Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom.
Background[]
The Confucian Academy is required to provide access to Confucianism, as well as summoning the heroes relating to Confucianism. However, this religion type is only required in Elite Housing areas, as Common Housing blocks don't need to worship this religion.
Before the Paper Era, this building requires a supply of Wood to provide access. After Paper is discovered, the Confucian Academy will no longer accept wood and will need a supply of Paper. When given Paper, the building will send out two scholars to provide access, rather than one.
